Brad Trammell concentrates his practice in commercial litigation and intellectual property litigation.

Professional Biography

While he has handled a variety of commercial litigation disputes in his 30+ years of practice, Mr. Trammell has extensive experience with matters involving the financial services industry, including mortgage servicing. His practice also involves a healthy dose of intellectual property litigation, as well as defending class actions brought against the Firm's clients.

Mr. Trammell has been managing counsel of literally thousands of mortgage cases for lenders/servicers across the Southeast throughout the years. He has tried many cases in state courts, but he has significant experience trying large stakes cases in federal court as well. Mr. Trammell tried a one-month federal court intellectual property case involving technology in the aerospace industry, resulting in a significant verdict for his client. Preceding that trial, he tried a three-month federal court case involving a complex multimillion-dollar commercial dispute which centered around ownership and damages related to spinal technology. In addition to his extensive trial court experience, Mr. Trammell has arbitrated a number of cases and has argued numerous cases before various appellate courts. Because of Memphis' close proximity to Arkansas and his licensure there, Mr. Trammell routinely handles matters in Arkansas.

Prior to law school, Mr. Trammell worked for a Fortune 100 financial services company. In his approach to a lawsuits, he uses his former business experiences to evaluate cases from both litigation and business perspectives. Mr. Trammell is a diehard fan of Auburn University and the Memphis Grizzlies.
