Josh Powers concentrates his practice in medical malpractice, and he also has significant experience in products liability, legal malpractice, and insurance coverage disputes.

Professional Biography


Mr. Powers routinely defends hospitals, doctors and nursing homes throughout Tennessee and Georgia in malpractice litigation. In February 2009, he secured a defense verdict in a two-week jury trial in McNairy County, Tennessee, where the plaintiffs were alleging the wrongful birth of their child.

Mr. Powers also has significant experience in products liability, legal malpractice and insurance coverage disputes.

Prior to law school, he served in the U.S. Peace Corps from 1982 to 1985 in the Kingdom of Tonga, and then worked for Coca-Cola® USA in Atlanta and New York City from 1985 to 1989.
