Brian is an experienced litigator and trial attorney, representing clients in state and federal courts across Florida. Brian represents clients in a broad range of commercial litigation matters, involving claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference, and other business torts. He litigates cases involving partnership and franchise disputes, including matters concerning alleged violations of the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA), Florida's Registration and Protection of Trademarks Act, and the Lanham Act.
Brian also assists leading Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) investors in Year 15 matters and other disputes with developers. Brian's insurance practice includes litigating coverage disputes, providing coverage opinions, and defending bad faith lawsuits.
Throughout the litigation process, from initial case assessment until resolution, Brian is seen by clients as a trusted advisor, delivering high-quality customer service and outcome oriented legal advice. Beyond rendering legal services, Brian strives to understand his client's broader business objectives and goals. Prior to beginning his legal career, Brian spent nearly a decade in marketing and advertising, spearheading campaigns for clients in the financial, automotive, and telecommunications industries.
Brian is an active member of BakerPride and member of the Baker Donelson Diversity Scholarship Selection Committee. He is also a member of the Cuban American Bar Association.
Brian is fluent in Spanish, and conversational in French.
