Join us for a special month-long series of conversations celebrating Black History Month, highlighting historic and current black leaders and their journeys to success, particularly women of color. Our initial speaker, Professor Chris Schmidt, will discuss his book on the historic sit-ins, and subsequent speakers will discuss their role models, how they have used their experiences to empower and give voice to their communities, and how racial differences continue to influence each of us.
Jennifer L. Ervin, General Counsel at Clark Atlanta University, and Ronni Bryant, Assistant Associate General Counsel at Morehouse School of Medicine, share the experiences that lead to their respective legal positions at institutions of higher education, particularly historically black colleges and universities.
