Baker Donelson Attorney Assumes Leadership Role Within International Association of Gaming Advisors

(Memphis, TN/November 5, 2012) Amy Kebert Elder of the law firm Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz has been selected to serve in a leadership role of the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA).

Ms. Elder, an attorney in Baker Donelson's Jackson office, has been elected to the Board of Trustees of the IAGA. She concentrates her practice on regulatory and business law for the Mississippi and Louisiana gaming industry, representing domestic and international casino owners and operators, gaming equipment manufacturers and distributors, casino management companies, investors, commercial lenders and private equity firms in a wide range of gaming matters including licensure, regulatory compliance, financing, project development and mergers and acquisitions.  A 1998 graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law, Ms. Elder is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Mississippi Women Lawyers Association.

The IAGA is an association of attorneys, financial experts, casino executives and regulators in the gaming industries. IAGA's purpose is to provide leadership in addressing issues affecting the industry. Formed in 1980, it has grown to more than 500 members worldwide.
