The Construction Law practice group at Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, has launched a new blog focused on the construction industry.
"Baker Bricks: The Construction World in Five Minutes or Less" is designed to provide a brief look at the construction industry that will be both entertaining and informative. Vincent G. Nelan and Stephen K. Pudner, attorneys in Baker Donelson's Construction Law group, will be the authors of the blog.
"Our goal is to provide a resource for anyone who is interested in what is going on in the construction industry," said Mr. Pudner. "We will provide real world examples that readers can use in their own practice to find opportunities, avoid problems and prepare for changes."
Mr. Nelan added that they will post to the blog frequently to ensure they are providing their readers with the latest developments in construction. "Construction is a fast-moving industry, and just keeping up with the constantly changing laws and regulations, much less understanding how those changes will impact your business, is a challenge," said Mr. Nelan. "We plan to post new articles weekly to make sure we're providing our readers with the information they need to stay on the leading edge of their industry."
Among the topics covered in the first posts will be the benefits of green construction and the impact of Alabama's immigration law on businesses in the construction industry.
