The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA) is now offering the state's first and only energy revolving loan program for existing industries with $50 million still remaining in the program's revolving fund. - Green building opportunities for property managers/owners, bankers, contractors, engineers, architects and vendors;
- Access to American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds through interest rate buydowns or direct loans;
- How an Alabama sawmill used the program to lower its energy consumption by 24 percent in its headquarters and 12 percent in its mill; and
- Alternative programs for those who are debt averse to maximize the energy efficiency of existing systems and upgrades.
