These step-by-step tips will allow you to protect your organization by confidently performing even the most complicated investigations. Specifically, we will discuss:
- Strategically using the attorney-client privilege to protect you and your company;
- Planning the investigation process before you start, to enhance its effectiveness;
- Defining the purpose and scope of the investigation;
- Determining how, when, and in what order to interview witnesses to uncover the truth;

- Conveying the findings to those involved and management; and
- Acting on the investigation's findings to resolve the problem and prevent future issues.
