Baker Donelson has added Charles R. Schaller to the Firm's Baltimore office as a member of the Firm's Environmental and Real Estate Groups.

"He is a well-regarded practitioner with significant experience that will enhance our capabilities in Maryland and across the Firm, allowing us to continue to provide exceptional service to our clients."
Mr. Schaller joins the Firm as of counsel and focuses his practice primarily on environmental and natural resource law involving land development, hazardous waste, water pollution, stormwater management, endangered species, wetlands and critical area issues affecting the Chesapeake Bay region. He counsels clients of all sizes in the agri-business, mining, industrial, maritime, development and energy industries on matters involving business and project development in Maryland and Delaware, providing regulatory guidance, litigation, counseling and transactional assistance.
A skilled litigator, Mr. Schaller represents clients in federal and state courts, handles permitting matters and enforcement actions before federal, state and local administrative agencies such as hazardous waste, water pollution and land development. He also advises real estate and business clients on regulatory compliance and environmental matters regarding issues such as shifting abatement responsibilities and transactional due diligence.
Mr. Schaller is a member of the Maryland State, Anne Arundel and American Bar Associations, and is also a member of the Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce as well as the Marine Trade Association of Maryland.
