Cancel culture is a concept largely developed by social media to describe a person or organization that is publicly ostracized. Recently, cancel culture has crept into the workplace in some unexpected ways, including workplace investigations and lawsuits over very public terminations.
Join us for a conversation about what the law has to say about cancel culture. In addition to Title VII and other nondiscrimination laws, we will be discussing how the First Amendment, the National Labor Relations Act, and state privacy laws interact with today’s cancel culture.
