(Chattanooga, TN / June 23, 2015) J. Lane Crowder has joined Baker Donelson as of counsel in the Firm's Financial Services Transactions Group.
Ms. Crowder is located in Baker Donelson's Chattanooga office, where she represents banks and other financial institutions in HUD-insured loan transactions for multifamily and senior housing facilities. Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Ms. Crowder served as a career law clerk to the Honorable R. Allan Edgar, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Tennessee, and the Honorable Shelley D. Rucker, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of Tennessee. Ms. Crowder was also previously an associate with a law firm in Seattle, Washington, where she practiced school law, employment law and general civil litigation.
A graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, Ms. Crowder is a member of the Justices Ray L. Brock Jr. - Robert E. Cooper American Inn of Court and the Southeast Tennessee Legal Association of Women. She is a board member of the Chattanooga Federal Bar Association, serving as CLE Committee Chair, and is a board member and Grant Committee Chair of the Normal Park Education Fund in Chattanooga.
