Life science startups have seen significant growth in Louisiana in recent years but face future struggles finding funding, according to a report produced by Baker Donelson, in partnership with LouisianaBio.
In this CityBusiness article, Paula Estrada de Martin notes that cutting state incentives and programs will make it more challenging for the industry.
"It won't be the end of the industry, but it'll take a lot more creativity in terms of finding that type of funding," Dr. Estrada de Martin said. "I think we're already doing it anyway in anticipation for the tax credits drying up."
