(Orlando, FL / July 10, 2013) – Baker Donelson is pleased to announce that Zachary J. Bancroft has been named a "Florida Legal Elite Up and Comer" in the practice area of bankruptcy and workout in the 2013 Legal Elite list compiled by Florida Trend magazine.
The "Up and Comer" category is a special designation for attorneys under the age of 40 who have exhibited leadership in the law and in their community.
Mr. Bancroft is a shareholder in Baker Donelson's Orlando office where he is a member of the Firm's Financial Institutions Group. He focuses his practice on commercial foreclosures, commercial loan workouts and bankruptcy litigation, with an emphasis on CMBS loans. Mr. Bancroft also represents a wide variety of clients in general business litigation matters, and has successfully argued several appeals before Florida's appellate courts. He is a graduate of the Wake Forest University School of Law and has been recognized as a "Rising Star" by Florida Super Lawyers since 2011.
Florida Trend's Legal Elite report is a peer-review listing recognizing the top attorneys in the state. Honorees are given a score based on the number of votes received from peers and the list of top vote-getters, tallied by an independent research firm, is then examined by a panel of prominent lawyers. The final list, which represents fewer than 2 percent of the active Florida Bar members practicing in Florida, is available in the July issue of Florida Trend.
