Professional Biography


Andre Mahone is a seasoned litigator with experience in the public and private sectors. He has tried more than 70 cases in state and federal courts and has prosecuted and successfully convicted numerous federal first-degree felony cases. Andre's practice focuses on commercial and business litigation matters in a broad range of industries, including construction, energy, finance, and real estate.

Andre previously served as a United States Air Force (USAF) Judge Advocate General (JAG), working as a federal prosecutor alongside Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) agents handling adult and child sex crimes. While serving in the USAF, Andre deployed to Djibouti where he had the distinct honor of holding the title of Chief of Military Justice, making him the most senior U.S. military federal prosecutor in Africa.

Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Andre practiced at a national law firm where he gained civil litigation experience handling cases involving government relations, personal injury defense, and toxic torts.

  • Obtained defense verdict on behalf of a client in a highly contested restrictive covenant and land use civil suit.
