Emma McKellar is a commercial and business litigator representing clients in various industries in state and federal courts in Houston and throughout Texas.

Professional Biography


Emma McKellar is an associate located in the Firm's Houston office and a member of the Advocacy Department. She represents clients in state and federal courts throughout Texas in a wide variety of commercial litigation matters, with an emphasis on breach of contract claims, premises and products liability, and insurance disputes.

Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Emma served as a judicial intern for the Texas Fourteenth Court of Appeals, where she drafted a memorandum opinion involving malpractice claims. Since joining the Firm, she has successfully obtained final rulings in favor of premise owners and third-party claims administrators.

  • Defended a telepharmacy services company in a $1 million wrongful death and medical malpractice lawsuit.
