Ryan Loofbourrow is an associate with Baker Donelson's Logistics, Energy, and Manufacturing Litigation Group, where he concentrates his practice in business and complex litigation.

Professional Biography


Ryan represents clients in state and federal courts across the country, including Alabama, Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee, in matters such as class actions and multidistrict litigation. He has conducted trials, prevailed on dispositive motions, and negotiated favorable settlements at all levels. To better serve his clients, Ryan actively explores the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance legal strategies.

Prior to private practice and on completion of law school, Ryan completed a two-year clerkship with the Honorable Waverly D. Crenshaw, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. He also clerked for the Honorable Jerome T. Kearney of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas and for the Honorable Royce Taylor of the 16th Circuit Court in Tennessee, Division Four.

Ryan remains active in his community, serving on the board of directors of professional and nonprofit organizations.

  • Negotiated a rent and access agreement for a holdover property owner after sale.

  • Successfully protested request for proposals for a municipality's street repaving contract.
