Baker Donelson has named Jennifer L. Curry as co-managing shareholder of the Firm's Baltimore office. Ms. Curry will serve alongside the current managing shareholder, James E. Edwards Jr.

While serving as co-office managing shareholder, Ms. Curry will continue to serve as co-chair of the Firm's L&E Health practice and will maintain her robust labor and employment legal practice, which is focused on working closely with employers in the health care and education industries on all manner of employment and compliance issues. Her practice includes advising and defending employers against discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims; coordinating crisis management responses; directing internal investigations involving sexual harassment, false claims, and whistleblowing; conducting Title IX investigations and proceedings; and implementing workplace health and safety mandates.
Ms. Curry has been recognized as a Super Lawyer by Maryland Super Lawyers for 2022, having previously been recognized as a Rising Star every year from 2013 to 2021. She was also selected by The Daily Record for its 2021 "Leading Women" list and its 2018 "VIP List – Very Important Professionals Successful by 40." Ms. Curry currently serves on the board of trustees of the Baltimore Bar Foundation, is a Next Up leader with the Greater Baltimore Committee, and is a member of the Leadership Advisory Council for Cristo Rey High School. She was a member of the board of directors of the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce from 2017 to 2020. Within Baker Donelson, Ms. Curry also serves on the Firm's Women's Initiative and Diversity Committees, and was recognized with the Firm's 2020 Work-Life Warrior Award.
