W. Patton Hahn has spent his entire career litigating and negotiating complex, multi-party commercial disputes, contractual disputes, receivership cases, complex real property and zoning litigation, shareholder disputes and other corporate governance litigation, will and trust disputes, complex large-scale construction cases and commercial fraud cases. His clients include Fortune 500 companies, multinational telecommunications companies, real estate investment trusts, private equity and hedge funds, commercial lenders, investment firms, high-net-worth individuals and their estates, court-appointed receivers, and construction and disaster recovery and property restoration companies, among others.
Mr. Hahn served as lead counsel in receivership litigation that involved the restructuring of the Jefferson County Sewer System's $3.3 billion sewer debt. He worked extensively in negotiations with the county, investment bankers, bond insurers and hedge funds in attempts to find a solution to the county's debt.
