Professional Biography


Mr. Blackstone is an experienced intellectual property litigator with a focus in the key areas of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. As a registered patent attorney, he is qualified to prosecute patents before and through the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Companies trust him to serve as outside general counsel and provide strategic advice in intellectual property and general business matters.

Mr. Blackstone has practiced before Federal Administrative Bodies, Federal District Courts, and Appellate Courts. Prior to joining Baker Donelson, he co-founded a full-service intellectual property and technology law firm based in Dallas, Texas.
